“Then there were brought to Him little children, that he should put hands on them and pray…and Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me:
for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 19:13-14
Jesus loved children and we do as well. We love children because of all they mean to us and because they represent the potential for greater things. The Bible shows two women who prayed for children and were blessed with the opportunity to help train great servants for God. Let us examine the story of Hannah so we can better see how to appreciate and train our children.

1 Samuel 4:12-18, 4:19-22

2 Samuel 2:11
2 Samuel 2:21
2 Samuel 2:26

CONCLUDING APPLICATION:
Psalm 127 reminds us of how great a Godly house can be. The home is a “Christian School” training children for success in God’s kingdom. Sometimes children will turn away from God despite our best attempts at training, however we must continue to invest in our young people so that we can see the bright future God wants for His people.
