While on a journey to be judged, a storm arose which threatened the ship entrusted with Paul and 275 others. God promised Paul that no life would be lost, but in order for them to be saved, they were required to stay with the ship. Some became fearful and tried to escape with the lifeboat. Paul stopped them saying, “Unless these men stay in the ship, you cannot be saved” (Acts 27:31).
As we journey through physical and spiritual paths, there are several necessary events. Without these things, it is impossible for us to live, it is impossible for us to be saved.
Notice that we would be lost, except for:

What would keep you out of Heaven today? Those men with Paul thought they were the exception to the rule. God makes no exceptions. Rather, “they that fear him and work righteousness are acceptable to Him.”
