You have seen the Snickers commercials.  Robin Williams is a coach who “just isn’t himself.”  They are telling us that you just can’t be right without a Snickers bar, and we say AMEN.

But why are we so angry, hateful, unforgiving, and lazy?  It is so easy to be discouraged, but it is so much better to be encouraged.

• God loves you so much that he sent Jesus to die so that you could live–John 3:16-17.
• God loves you so much that he sent Jesus to lead you through life–Ephesians 1:22.
• God loves you so much that he sent Jesus to give you blessings–Romans 8:32.
• God loves you so much that he is going to send Jesus to bring you home–John 14:1-4.

A Snickers bar sure would make me happy.  It would also give me a sugar high and a bunch of extra calories I don’t need.

God’s love makes it right.  As the song says, “God’s love is all I need each day.”
