We need more Jesus not less. Just this morning I read a story about a program titled “12 Hours With Jesus” in which a group hosts preaching about Jesus for 12 straight hours. We would all agree our lives, families, and marriages are better with more Jesus. How can we get Jesus into our lives more? How can we get Jesus into the lives of others more and more efficiently?

1. Pray. Do not neglect the greatest power on earth. Jesus said, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive” (Matthew 21:22).

2. Prepare. Failure to prepare is preparing to fail. Be prepared to present the Gospel to your friends. Colossians 4:5-6 says, “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye out to anwer each one.”

3. Personal Victory. “You are the light of the world”  Jesus said. Is your light shining brightly as it should? We should be talking to people about how great God is and how much God has blessed our lives and how the church has blessed our lives. If we are not talking about how greatly He has blessed us, isnt there something wrong with us?

4. Preaching. “Preach the Word” (2 Tim. 4:2). “Faith comes by hearing” (Rom. 10:17). “God chose the foolishness of preaching to save man” (1 Cor. 1:21). Have you been looking for a great way to grow the church? Have you been looking for a great way to help someone find Jesus? God says preaching (be it public preaching or private preaching/teaching) is the best way to save souls. 

Pray that God will fill our lives, families, church, and community with the love of Jesus.
