School’s out! That marks the unofficial start of summer. Everyone is excited for all summer holds. I just had some thoughts on things to remember during summer vacation–and all the time.
- Remember to stay faithful to worship–Hebrews 10:25. School is out, but the church is always in session.
- Remember to let your light shine well–Matthew 5:16. People will notice you. Make sure they notice you for your Christianity and not your lack of clothes.
- Remember to make the most of the time God gives you–Ephesians 5:16. We only have so many summers with our children. Children, you only have so many summers with your parents. Make the most of your time.
- Remember to get some extra Bible time–2 Timothy 2:15. The greatest purpose of school is to equip students to be better students of God’s Word. If you have some extra time, give it to the Lord.
This summer will go by quickly. Enjoy it as best you can. Utilize the time for God’s glory.
