It’s that time of year when we are excited about our daily Bible reading. We are looking to the list for 2017 and want to finish. We look to 2018 to see what we will do.
There are many different ways to read through the Bible. Chronologically, three chapters per day, ten chapters per day, or combined readings from the Old and New Testaments. Now, we gaued against making our Bible reading just a daily chore to check off. But if we do not make daily Bible reading a daily task, it will become a neglected task. So however you choose to read through the Bible, be certain to read through the Bible.
Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching–1 Timothy 4:13
